There is more good than evil in this world, and when good men and women fight for what is right, evil will disappear into the darkness where it belongs.
Many people in Madison County are worried about safety under the current Sheriff and there is a good reason for this. Harwood has been married four times, and three of his former spouses have reported serious abuse and said they live in ongoing fear because of him.
Harwood seems to hire only individuals who stalk, abuse, and attack women. This is the image Buddy sets; it is his image. He does not care if these deputies abuse your civil rights. He and the other two sheriffs call people of color “colored people.” As their leader, Harwood shows illiteracy and immorality and brags that the people of this county are under his spell and adhere to his bigoted standards.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department appears to publicly demonstrate Christian values on weekends but does not consistently uphold these principles during the week. For example, actions such as the mistreatment of women are incompatible with these values.
Is this behavior intended to influence perceptions within church communities? I believe Madison’s church communities are discerning and aware of these inconsistencies. So why do they vote for him? Harwood is not a good, decent man. Are they afraid of him?
When was the last time Buddy Harwood had any meaningful training?
As an elected official, the Sheriff is not required to complete regular training. Some worry this could affect how well deputies follow legal standards. This is why Madison County faces several lawsuits. Harwood is responsible for his deputies’ actions; the buck stops with Buddy.
Two deputies submitted their two-week notices this week while Commissioner Jeremy Hensley’s son quit. Hensley’s son is implicated in the officer-involved shooting in Sandy Mush.
Harwood and Michael Garrison tried to implement the department’s safety measures at Brush Creek School yesterday. Isn’t this where Van Duncan assigned Avery Clark as a temporary SRO officer?

This man in the video is Kenny Roberts, a friend of the sheriff. He is leasing the property and is angry that Tess had it surveyed. Roberts works or worked with Treadway out of Buncombe County. Same company: Matt Wechtel and the other commissioners hired to run the Fairgrounds.

Earlier, three survey stakes disappeared from Tess’s property. That morning, she used a metal detector to look for them before heading to work. It seems the neighbors called their friends at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Tess went to the Sheriff’s Department for help; they bounced her around to Elaine Edwards, the magistrate. Remember, this magistrate is the same one who signed the illegal search warrants against the vape shops and gave campaign contributions to Buddy Harwood.
She was there for three hours, and when she finally got a chance to speak to Magistrate Elaine Edwards, she was shocked by what she said.

Disgusting that this kind of backward ignorance still exists. It exists in this county because of Buddy Harwood, Michael Garrison, Van Duncan, Greg Christopher, the Madison County Commissioners, and Seth Banks, the DA.
