More flaws in Harwood’s illegal raids on Madison County Vape shops…

The professional competence of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and its employees raises significant concerns.
Below is the search warrant for Arron Gosnell, signed by Magistrate Rebecca Edwards of the Madison Clerk of Courts office. I believe this warrant was issued unlawfully.
Rebecca Edwards is a retired DSS employee and does not hold a law degree. Detective Kent also does not have a law degree and is a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College.
They claimed these items were controlled substances, but no evidence supports this. The COAs indicate otherwise. I included the statute Detective Kent referenced, which does not apply to the legal adult consumer products sold in Madison County and Western North Carolina.
Remember, Kent, who is barely old enough to shave, wrote in the Yemeni businessman’s search warrant for Marshall Vape Shop that the owner, Sam, was a drug dealer. This female magistrate signed it without question. Do you think a superior court judge would have signed this garbage?
Complaints need to be filed against both of these individuals and others for their conduct.

The NC 90-95-(e)(8) statute pertains to meth-fentanyl, not to legal adult products approved by Congress in the Farm Bill. This statute addresses serious drug felonies and this detective Kent needs to educate himself before he vomits his intellect onto the courts…
This was a targeted hit job by a sheriff’s department desperate to get reelected in order to keep their jobs. Unfortunately, the first female magistrate in Madison County is entangled in this fodder. Very disappointing, as I had high hopes for her.
Why didn’t she send this up for review by a Superior Court judge?

There are also concerns regarding the handling of evidence, as the Madison County Sheriff’s Department is known for planting drugs on targets to get arrests.
Rebecca Edwards, a former DSS employee, is likely aware of this matter, as Coy Phillips was involved in this practice while working with DSS and Mandy Sluder.
Initially, I believed the magistrate and the Harwood Sheriff’s Department were acting under the new NC budget laws, which do not take effect until October.
I have spent the last few days reviewing these, and even though the Religious Zealots wanted more restrictions, only three will go into effect in October. Folks, you should see some of these bills the Republicans are pushing. One I came across wanted a ban on tattoos and piercings.
Below is the public announcement put out by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Sex Castle bandits
Madison County — August 29, 2026: The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has launched a major multi-agency enforcement initiative dubbed Operation Defending the Future: Protecting Our Youth, Protecting Our Community, targeting the illicit sale of intoxicating substances aimed at local minors and families.
The targeted operation follows a wave of complaints from concerned parents, community members, and local citizens regarding area businesses marketing and selling products designed to attract youth. Authorities noted that substances previously difficult for children to access have become alarmingly available, raising severe concerns over dependence, impaired judgment, and the long-term cognitive and developmental impacts on young people.
Any of these unsupervised and forgotten children can buy Nicotine on Amazon and if they really want booze Vape products they can ask their adult friends or the dirty flockcops at Madison County Sheriff Department to buy these for them. Coy Phillips did this all the time and if Coy did it Buddy Harwood blessed it.
These products are legal, and adult consumers have a right to purchase legal products. If you are worried about your children acquiring them, then do a better job of parenting. As for the schools blaming the vape shops, do you really want me to go there about what really goes on at Madison County High School?
Madison High and the School system have more problems with their own personnel than outside entities. They are not exactly role models for these kids.
North Carolina lawmakers approved new regulations this month aimed at reducing youth access to nicotine products, creating new requirements for specialty vape shops and expanding state enforcement authority.
North Carolina’s recent vape-shop regulations focus on licensing, age verification, and enforcement, not on a statewide 1,000-foot separation from schools. Federal law regulates the sale of tobacco and vape products to persons under 21, but it does not create a nationwide 1,000-foot buffer prohibiting stores from locating near schools.
It is disturbing that the sheriff’s department appears to have selectively targeted individuals from minority backgrounds and made public statements of illegal behavior not based on any fact, just their native bigotry.
Gosnell, who is white, has operated at this location for eight years. Other convenience stores in Hot Springs are also selling similar products, some even closer to schools.
Additionally, Gosnell’s former girlfriend previously worked for Van Duncan before joining Harwood’s team. Are you catching on, folks?

There is concern that law enforcement may continue to pursue cases involving legal products, raising questions about the focus and priorities of current investigations.
Madison County taxpayers fund their salaries, and these inept cops’ actions are putting the county at risk of legal action.
No wonder the county has such a crime problem.
What will be next? Will Harwood target grandmas who plant poppy seeds in their gardens?
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department and its employees’ level of professional competence is beyond laughable. Sam of Marshall Vape Shop was never arrested or charged. Buddy Harwood harassed him for the color of his skin and religion, even calling him a terrorist.
Sam’s attorney asked what evidence the sheriff’s department had against his client. Harwood, Garrison, and Duncan acknowledged having no evidence to charge him. Yet Baby Kent was able to lie and secure a search warrant. The attorney also opined to these idiots that the tests they used were illegal.
He further stated that both the individuals involved and the county would face legal action. Harwood Garrison and Duncan would be sued personally.
Madison County taxpayers should be aware that the county has begun construction on an over-budget courthouse administration office complex, having secured only a quarter of the necessary funding.
This $98 million project poses significant financial risk, especially if potential litigation negatively impacts the county’s credit rating. The county currently lacks sufficient funds for this undertaking.
On the November ballot, voters will have the opportunity to cap the county’s ability to increase property taxes. If you are concerned about recent actions affecting civil rights and county commissioner actions, I encourage you to register to vote, participate in this important decision, and vote against Harwood for Sheriff.
The voter registration deadline for the November 2026 general election is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2026.
Do not register with the Republicans in Madison County; cross the street and register with the Democrats, go to the BOE of Madison County or do this online at NCBOE.
Buddy Harwood is unfit for office…
Buddy Harwood said he will not take a photo with the current Democratic commissioner candidates because, in his words, “the women talk about sex.” Don’t forget He is the man who allowed children under his care to be raped at his jail.
Dr. Shannon Dowler, a family physician, is on the ballot alongside Connie Molland. Dr. Dowler has a special interest in advancing sexual health and reducing sexually transmitted infections.
Given Buddy Harwood’s present and past sexual misgivings, I think he should make an appointment with Dr. Dowler, not snub her.
But Hey Buddy Harwood calls himself a Republican these days; boy, does he fit in with this shady fascist bunch.
Notably, the Republican Party has positioned itself across the street from the Democratic Party on the bypass and has placed signs on the right-of-way, which is not permitted under State law. The Democratic Party has not engaged in this practice.
They have displayed a Trump-Vance banner, and the middle sign reads, “Stand with us, help strengthen our county.” Melissa Sluder and Cindy Davidson may be involved in this effort.
This speaks volumes: they are both Christian zealots who stand with Trump, their furor, who is a Pedophile. Priceless

Regarding Cindy Davidson, she is no longer affiliated with the Buncombe County Republican Party because she attacked volunteers and tried to take it over; she landed in Madison and is known to associate with Chad Nesbitt, who operates a Leicester-based tabloid publication and is best friends with Buddy Harwood.
Sherry Lewis- Cindy Davidson’s cousin was recently recorded in Waynesville engaging in behavior that has drawn public attention. I mention this because similar groups have been active in Madison County, opposing adults who visit vape shops. These groups are known for targeting activities that do not align with their religious beliefs and have been accused of misrepresenting their objectives to gain support.
From Hometown Holler:
You’re watching a reporter get physically blocked from entering a public rec center in the small mountain town of Waynesville, North Carolina. According to reporting from @citizentimes, members of the Haywood County GOP barred an Asheville Citizen-Times reporter from entering a public rally for US Senate candidate Michael Whatley. The reporter even called the Town Attorney and put her on speaker so the people blocking the door could hear, directly, that public events at public facilities are open to everyone.
They called 911 on him anyway.
This isn’t the first time the press has experienced hostility at a Michael Whatley campaign event. At a Raleigh event on July 9, the Whatley campaign called police on a reporter and denied entry to several others.
These incidents come as the Whatley campaign faces increasing scrutiny on multiple fronts. Whatley was appointed North Carolina’s Helene recovery czar, and then chaired a subcommittee pushing FEMA reforms that reporters say could directly benefit his personal investment portfolio. He also publicly backed a registered sex offender for a leadership post within the North Carolina Republican Party.
Whatley faces Former Governor Roy Cooper this November in a toss-up race that could determine control of the US Senate.
What is Whatley and the Republican Party afraid of? Is it because no one showed up?
One of the women in this video is Sherry Lewis, who has long black hair and a distinctive witchy laugh. She is Cindy Davidson’s cousin, the former Madison County Republican chair. The combination of her hair and laugh is reminiscent of Cousin Itt.
There are Republicans and Democrats, and in the middle are we, the majority, who have decided we want better for our country and our communities.
We want freedom from overspending that has pushed the deficit to $40 trillion. We want our military home on US soil, defending us and not picking fights with the world.
We want freedom to speak and assemble without being targeted by corrupt cops who use surveillance to harass us.
In other words, we want our Country back and want to find common ground that we can agree on for all of the people of our country, including those who have different religions and skin colors.
Our focus going forward should be on us, the America our Founding Fathers fought for- CH
