Isn’t it strange how 20 million Democrats disappeared in a single election from 2020 to 2024? Joe Biden got 81 million votes, Kamala got 60.

Mark Robinson pulled down all the other candidates on the state level. I just hope he doesn’t turn into NC’s Stacey Abrams. He needs to go away. The NC Republican Party owns this for not properly vetting their candidates.
A bad apple in the bunch can rot the whole bunch. It is refreshing to notice that the independent voters in this state have proven their importance and need to be taken seriously in the long term. Let’s see if either party is smart enough to recognize this.
Congratulations to Michael Garrison and Matt Wechtel for holding onto their seats. My question is, will they do what is right for every citizen in Madison County, or will they continue to serve Mars Hill Republicans only?
